The Summer School is addictive: Every course you take opens up a new set of courses, and you just can’t stop!

– 3F Bayesian Analysis in the Social Sciences 

The Summer School provided me with an opportunity to make contact with professional social scientists and students from a range of countries, universities and research institutions; and in addition to the usual classroom instructions and daily laboratory work, there are evening seminars on research topics of special interest, which were excellent.

After attending the Essex Summer School I feel that I am now in a better position to analyse my data. This has helped me in two profound ways: a) to help build on the existing academic literature in my area of academic interest and b) with my newly acquired knowledge I can now publish my research in a way that is easier for everyone to understand.
