I would like to once again thank you for your committed teaching and your ability to adapt the course to accommodate the diverse levels of all students. For me, it was a very rewarding summer course.
– 2I Applying Discourse Theory – Politics, Ideology, Populism (Professor Jason Glynos, Professor Yannis Stavrakakis)

Thank you to Karen O’Reilly and the wider team for making this a memorable training, I had my research ethics meeting and apart from minor amendments I have been cleared. I was able to speak to the panel clearly due to this training and the workshops.
– 2Q Ethnography and Ethnographic Methods (Prof. Karen O’Reilly)

Thank you once again for the great content you shared with us. It was a really enjoyable course with a wonderful group, and I’ve already recommended it to some of my colleagues in Salzburg. London was also a great experience!
– 1I Qualitative Interviewing (Dr. Katy Wheeler, Dr. Bethany Morgan-Brett)

In the meantime I must thank you both again for a fantastic course. I found it really enjoyable and insightful – I’ve never taken so many notes in one week! It was very clear too how much you’ve refined the course and made improvements. I picked up quite a few tips around teaching and learning, as well as the actual content. I’ve already recommended your course to several colleagues – and shared Bethany’s “thriving” research with a friend struggling with care arrangements (I certainly didn’t expect to learn so much about care homes!)
– 1I Qualitative Interviewing (Dr. Katy Wheeler, Dr. Bethany Morgan-Brett)

I’m writing to thank you for the opportunity to participate in the Longitudinal and Panel Data Analysis course. It’s an excellent course — very well-structured and engaging. I truly appreciate the chance to participate in this learning space. I’d also like to take this opportunity to share a short article published by the National University of San Martín last month, highlighting my participation in ESS 2025: https://noticias.unsam.edu.ar/2025/06/17/gabriel-diaz-nanni-gano-una-beca-para-cursar-en-la-universidad-de-essex/ Although I’m currently attending remotely, I hope to visit the University of Essex in person in the future. It would be a valuable opportunity to experience the academic environment on campus.
